Twenty-first century leadership requires building and maintaining good
interpersonal relationships that enable you to make positive change
happen. Change is a key feature of the contemporary workplace and is
directly related to solving problems, making improvements and innovating
in order to make progress. Success at work, therefore, often depends on
how well developed your leadership skills are, with leadership now
considered a basic work skill. In fact employers rate leadership in the
top 3-4 attributes they seek in graduates and you will need to
demonstrate your leadership skills in selection processes.
